Three measurements, Cartis draws the rest.
Every view is a tab of the same job. Change one measurement and they all change together: flat layout, cutting die, 3D, sheet yield and quote.
Lips, turn-ins and tolerances worked out from the board thickness and the paper.
The customer sees it finished, lid opening, before the sample.

3D · REMAKE · SandThe same box, seen from where you sit.
A box is a single record: the owner sees the margin in it, the technical office the flat layout, sales the quotation, the shop floor the steps, the designer the template.
Real margins at 200 pieces, actual costs, confidential price lists.

The catalogue holds photographed samples of Base, Lunar, Crush, Twill, Refit, Sparto and Remake. Pick the paper and you see it on the box, in the 3D and in the artwork template for the design studio.
Colours are indicative: the physical sample has the final say.

Run the numbers with your own figures.
Three tools, no sign-up: what your quotes cost you each month, how many cartons fit on a pallet, how many pieces per sheet. Plus four short guides on the lip, yield, cutting dies and fixed costs.
A box style for every box.
From rigid boxes to shaped inserts. Each style has its own construction rules, checked on physical samples.

What we found in the archive.
Cartis is built on the production archive of a box maker. Going back through jobs and drawings we found these three problems; today the software runs the checks on its own.
The 26% margin does not exist at 200 pieces
The median job is 200 pieces. Once make-ready and spoilage sheets are counted, a nominal 26% margin drops to 1.4%. Cartis always counts the fixed job costs.
Cutting dies ordered twice
In the tooling register, 48 sizes out of 115 already existed under another code. Cartis checks the register before every order.
Files in the wrong unit
728 DXF files out of 1,002 declared a unit different from the real one: a mistake you discover at the cutter. Cartis checks the unit and scale of every incoming drawing.
Then production, in the same software.
From job to delivery: steps, departments and machines, assignments, purchasing and stock. On the shop floor everyone sees the operation that is theirs next.

The same work, in a third of the time.
One person handles three times the jobs they handled before. We measured it in our own factory, on everyday jobs.
One monthly fee. Every feature.
The two plans have the same features; the only difference is how many people work in Cartis. There are no one-off licences and no modules to buy separately.

What people ask us before trying it.
We already use a packaging CAD. What is Cartis for?
CAD produces the drawing. Cartis starts from three measurements and generates the flat layout, cutting die, 3D, yield, quote and production, and prepares the files for the designer and the die maker. Many companies use both: CAD for the one-off special, Cartis for everyday production.
Where do our costs and price lists live?
In your company's own space, which no other box maker can see. By contract we neither look at nor use our customers' costs and price lists. The version you send your customer is generated without any financial data.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Cartis is a web application: a browser on any computer is enough. You need a connection to sign in and to save.
How long does it take to get started?
The getting-started guide walks you through step by step: company, machines, papers, boards, times, mark-up and first quote. You are up and running in half a day.

We work on your sizes and on the papers you use in production.
