The shop floor knows what to do next.
The job reaches the shop floor with its steps, its machines and the promised date. You follow it in four views: Shop floor, Departments and machines, Assignments and Scheduling. Timers and batches are checked before the shared save; deliveries go out with delivery note, carrier and tracking.
An ordinary day.
Eight o'clock, the queue
Open the Essential view, six columns: customer, delivery, status, next action, quantity, assignment. Those who prefer it look at the Matrix by department. Jobs held up by a block always stay in view.
A tool that isn't there
In tooling, every code says whether it's there, where it is and when it arrives. If the die is shown as on its way, ordered or to be checked, the timer won't start; if you pause, the time already counted is kept.
A part delivery
You record the shipment line by line and the balance updates, with delivery note or reference, carrier and tracking. A reversal has to be declared, with person, date and reason. If a confirmation is interrupted halfway, you pick it up again without the shipment being counted twice.
What Cartis does on the shop floor.
Your own steps, operators, machines, shifts and closures; overall machine load and dependencies between jobs.
Reason, file requested and person responsible; the step and the operations that depend on it stay on hold, the promised date is kept.
Customer, urgency, die, material, sizes, pieces and impressions; operator, time, quantity produced and batches to the next step.
Calendar, “Before delivery”, quantities and shipments per line.
On hand, reserved and available kept separate; partial receipts; materials overview per job.
Good, rejected and reworked pieces; actual costs; consumption from stock.
Working instructions stay with the job, with machine and reference sample.
Changes to different fields merge; incompatible ones ask for a decision.

In the demo we follow it through to delivery: steps, assignments, materials, delivery note.
