The right template, with the real paper.
The template reaches the studio with cut paths, creases and safe area on separate layers, at 1:1. The paper chosen from the catalogue goes in with its texture, and the inner finish of the board is written on it. When the file comes back to the factory, Cartis checks it.
An ordinary day.
A template to set up
The sheet is layered, at 1:1, with cut paths, creases and safe area. The actual board thickness and the item with the coloured inner face it takes from the catalogue.
The paper changes at the last minute
It happens. The template follows the catalogue: if the thicknesses don't match, a warning appears, and the new paper goes into the template with the program's own command, without losing the text already written.
The file comes back to the factory
Cartis checks it on return. Meanwhile, in production, the proof, revision or artwork-approval step sits in a declared wait, with reason, file requested and person responsible.

The file received is compared with the template before it goes to print.
The step stays on hold with reason and person responsible; when the file arrives, it restarts.

In the demo we set up a template live, with the paper from the catalogue and the inner finish declared.
