CAD produces the drawing. Cartis starts from three measurements and generates the flat layout, cutting die, 3D, yield, quote, production and pallet, and prepares the files for the designer and the die maker. Many companies use both: CAD for the one-off special, Cartis for everyday production.

We look at them in the demo. Several box styles began as samples brought in by customers.

It is the software: the 3D box is generated from the same measurements as the flat layout, with the paper chosen from the photographic catalogue. The images on this site come from the same geometry as the box styles.

No. Cartis is a web application: a browser on any computer is enough. You need a connection to sign in and to save.

Yes: production has its own views for the shop floor, departments and machines, assignments and scheduling. On the Officina plan, machine queues and shop-floor job cards sit on several workstations.

Yes, at any time: layouts and cutting dies export to DXF, SVG and PDF. When the contract expires Cartis stays read-only and you can download everything.

In your company's own space, which no other box maker can see. Sagomato undertakes by contract not to look at or use its customers' costs and price lists. The version you send your customer is generated without any financial data.

The 3D proof of the single item, to turn and look at, with the option to approve or ask for changes. No price, no mark-up, no production data. It is valid for 60 days and you can withdraw it whenever you like.

Costs follow the workstation: they are visible only where intended. The shop floor works on steps, not on margins. The owner authorises the workstations for each person.

The getting-started guide walks you through step by step: company, machines, papers, boards, times, mark-up and first quote. You are up and running in half a day. Importing previous jobs is a separate service.
